THE EXPERT DISCOVERY COMPANY TOOK PART IN THE ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION “Management of Operating Efficiency in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises: Tasks, Instruments, and Best Practices”, ORGANIZED BY THE MOSCOW CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY.

According to a committee chair Lidia Chukina, it was the second seminar aimed at assisting SME managers in organizing and enhancing efficiency of their enterprises. “Before the year is out, - she said, - we intend to organize another two roundtable discussions.”
“In August, the Presidium of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and Priority Projects of Russia pronounced a program for increasing  the labor productivity that should be implemented by the year 2025. This will primarily concern the increase in performance by making use of various instruments. As a matter of fact, this goal can be also achieved by changing the intra-company management processes", - Lidia Chukina stated.

The participants acquainted themselves with the concept of operating efficiency, its elements and the tools for improving operating efficiency within the company. The roundtable discussion focused exclusively on the following three tools: benchmarking, management accounting setup in the context of SME business model, and enhancement of internal control efficiency.  

The participants were also addressed by the managing partner of the Expert Discovery company Sofia Ievenko who presented a report “THE ENHANCEMENT OF INTERNAL CONTROL EFFICIENCY AS A TOOL FOR MINIMIZING LOSSES AT SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES.”
